The context

Running a SaaS business means watching a few vital numbers at all times: recurring revenue, new sign-ups, support tickets. APEX turns those metrics into a living dashboard, displayed continuously.

The challenge

Making a constantly-moving data stream readable, beautiful and real-time, on a screen that stays on all day. Zero reloads, zero flicker, an aesthetic you want to look at.

My answer

• React 19 + TypeScript front-end optimised for full-screen iPad display.
• Rails API aggregating and pushing the metrics.
• A "cyberpunk / Tony Stark" art direction: neons, smooth animations, clear visual hierarchy.
• Continuous updates with no perceptible reflow.

The result

An object that's both useful and desirable: the key figures, always up to date, at a glance. Proof that an internal tool can get as much care as a showcase product.
