Home page of the Citron Sorbet studio site, a graphic designer in Nantes

The context

Citron Sorbet is the studio of Fanny Métivier, a graphic designer in Nantes specialising in brand identity. Her site had to match her craft: beautiful, alive, flawless in the detail — and perfectly ranked locally.

The challenge

Turning a demanding art direction into a fast and animated site, without sacrificing performance or SEO. All while migrating from an old WordPress, without losing hard-earned rankings, and offering a smooth booking experience.

My answer

  • Bespoke site in Next.js 16 / React 19 / Tailwind, deployed on Vercel.
  • Rich motion design: GSAP animations, smooth scrolling (Lenis), kinetic titles, a signature cursor and touches of WebGL — all cleanly disabled on mobile and in prefers-reduced-motion so performance is never hurt.
  • Local Nantes SEO: structured data (schema.org), careful tags, and a substantial blog to anchor the ranking.
  • WordPress migration without breakage: URLs preserved, clean redirects, SEO history kept.
  • In-house booking synced with Google Calendar (real slots, event creation, confirmation emails).

The result

A site in the studio's image: elegant, alive, ultra-fast and well ranked. It's also the fruit of the tandem I form with Fanny — she designs the identity, I build the site. This very site was born from the same complementarity.
